  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited technical college or university in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 4 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with embedded system design, including: Schematic capture and PCB layout, Digital, analog, and mixed signal design, Board-level communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CAN), Linear and switch mode DC/DC power conversion, Documentation (test procedures & reports, interface control documents, ECOs), Experience in prototype development, debugging, and testing in a lab environment
  • Familiarity with: Design analysis and simulation (WCA/WCCA, reliability, radiation), Cable and wire harness design, Signal and power integrity (SI/PI), Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), Controlled impedance for high-speed channel design (SpaceWire, 10GbE, SerDes)
Responsibilities
  • Support the development of multi-board designs from concept through development and into manufacturing and test
