Head of Studio @ Designit

We are a fast-growing design agency looking for a Head of Studio to lead our London-based team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team and driving profitability. As Head of Studio, you will be responsible for the overall P&L of the Studio, including order booking, revenue recognition, margin, utilization and overall accountability for the overall profitability.

Ensure the operational efficiency of the studio, overseeing the day-to-day running of the office and managing the team to deliver outstanding work on time and on budget.
Hire and manage a talented team to the right size, craft, and experience to meet the needs of our clients.
Promote pastoral wellbeing and ensure everyone in the Studio feels valued, motivated, and supported.
Identify opportunities for growth and work with senior management to implement strategic initiatives.
Manage the intake of work for the Design teams, ensuring we have the right skills in place to meet the strategic goals of the business.
Manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets for studio projects, liaising with Talent and Creative Resource Management on the hiring and management of freelance talent.
Overall management of the studio space, ensuring it is well-maintained and meets the needs of the team.
Liaise with senior management on the financial management of the Studio, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Financial Independence: You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability for the Studio, with a focus on both the top line (commercial team & Wipro synergy) and bottom line (operations/finance).
Culture & People: You will be responsible for promoting a positive culture and ensuring our people feel valued, motivated, and supported.
Creative Excellence: You will be responsible for maintaining our reputation for delivering outstanding creative work.
