Requirements
  • US Citizenship required for work under DoD contracts
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 5 or more years of directly related experience in a Federal Government contracting environment
  • Experience working in an approved purchasing system (CPSR) environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborate environment
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Responsibilities
  • Prepares Requests for Proposals
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders about procurement requirements
  • Serves as the focal point to receive and review subcontractor proposals
  • Consults with SMX technical staff to resolve conflicting matters
  • Consults SMX representatives with legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests
  • Ensures the receipt, accuracy and timeliness of subcontractor submittals
  • Reviews non-competitive justifications for sufficiency
  • Prepares price analyses and negotiates terms and price with subcontractors
  • Prepares procurement files compliant with SMX procedures
  • Performs subcontract closeouts
  • Coordinates subcontracting activities with various sources
