Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field and 7 years of relevant experience OR the equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Quality experience working in regulated industry (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, etc.)
  • Relevant experience with chemistry/biologic/reagent production & related QC systems
  • Strong communication skills oral/written and listening
  • Communicate effectively up, down, and across, inside & out of the organization
  • Effective organizational and time management and the ability to work towards multiple priorities while delivering quality outcomes
  • Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must have the knowledge and experience to provide strong leadership in support of design controls, manufacturing, quality control and field quality
  • Develop strategic plans for future growth of the Quality function and help lead the QA team toward successful implementation and execution of the systems
  • Lead in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of products, processes, policies, and procedures governing the QMS
  • Work effectively with leadership and process owners to align systems across the company and at multiple locations
  • Generate/communicate metrics for process execution monitoring & feedback
  • Interact with other functional areas to define and execute project requirements and objectives across the company
  • Must have track record of working effectively in teams to resolve issues and elevate as appropriate
  • Participate in cross-functional leadership and operational excellence initiatives
  • Act as a change agent approaching challenges with inherent curiosity, an open mind, and collaborate towards positive outcomes
