When a provider places an imaging order, the tool draws on information from the order as well as relevant clinical record data. It then recommends the most appropriate imaging study for the patient's condition. Streamlining Prior Authorization and Reducing Delays Beyond clinical guidance, Image Guide+ also supports payer prior authorization requirements. This feature helps reduce administrative delays that often slow down patient care. By aligning imaging orders with payer standards from the start, providers can avoid costly rework and denials. The tool began appearing for ambulatory imaging orders during the week of April 8. Furthermore, Premier Health plans to expand it to emergency department and inpatient workflows in the coming months.
