Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience as an inspector or quality technician is required.
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve complex problems is required.
  • Hands-on experience reading engineering drawings and interpreting technical information, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, is required.
  • Experience collecting data for quality reports is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in changing situations are required.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across departments and with supervisors and managers is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
  • Verify incoming and in-process materials and products comply with company drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate Material Review Board activities, including data input, reporting, and material disposition.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities through production and inspection activities.
  • Assist with implementing process improvements.
  • Perform first article inspections.
  • Develop and maintain production inspection reports.
  • Ensure production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
  • Assist with AS9100 audits.
  • Report quality issues and anomalies to appropriate managers.
  • Collate test and inspection data to facilitate quality reporting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of electronic circuitry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics enterprise resource planning software.
  • ASQ Technician or Auditor certification.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
