Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate employment records and files
- Administers employee benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review processes for practices
- Responds to unemployment claims and filing appeals
- Process Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checks for practices
- Oversee Credentialing
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and company policies
- Assists with job postings and advertisement efforts to support physician recruiting
- Coordinates hiring process for providers assuring completion of required processes including credentialing and contracts/agreements
- Handle employee and physician issues, benefit, human resource and miscellaneous calls
- Occasional trips to physician offices and evening meetings as required
- Maintain Employee Navigator (benefits enrollment system)
- Review and track Bi-Weekly timesheets
- Weekly HRA Payments
- Oversee FMLA
- Reconcile monthly Medical, Dental, Vision and Aflac invoices
- Payroll Audit
- New Hire Reporting
- EEO1 Report
- Worker's Compensation Claims
- Property, Liability and Contents insurance
- Verification of Employment, Domestic Relations forms
- Perform other projects/tasks as assigned
