What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Provide support in administering benefits, payroll, HRIS, and compensation programs to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

• Maintain and update role responsibility matrices in tools and the SharePoint document library, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

• Assist with employee lifecycle processes, including HRIS administration, to support seamless transitions and employee data management.

• Contribute to morale, engagement, recognition, and wellness activities, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

• Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and activities, playing a role in creating an equitable environment.
• Assist with implementing legal or policy updates, ensuring compliance and keeping processes up-to-date.

What You’ll Need:

• 1 year experience working in HR in an office environment at an entry-level or intern level. 

• Customer service experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 

• Knowledge of employee benefits, compensation practices, and leave administration. 

• Knowledge of HRIS and/or Benefit software (Paylocity, Namely, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of local, state-specific, and federal employment law (including FMLA, FLSA, COBRA, EEO, ADA, etc.)

This position will require significant presence in the San Diego Head Quarters.
