Responsibilities

Workato is looking for highly motivated, results-driven individuals to join our GTM Automation Solutions team. As our first Finance Business Domain Expert, you’ll support the sales and customer success teams to drive Finance automation use cases and adoption with prospects and customers. You will own the messaging and point of view for selling Workato into the office of the CFO. You will also be responsible to:

• Support the Commercial Account Management team with Finance expansions as a subject matter expert, advising on recommended automation use cases and best practices

• Run Finance automation assessments with Customers to identify new use cases and build an automation roadmap for growth within the Finance department

• Develop a point of view for Workato for Finance and collaborate with the Demand Generation to create content to drive awareness

• Collaborate with the Field Readiness team to create Sales messaging to sell to Finance personas

• Collaborate with Field Marketing to hold Finance Leader dinners in target cities in North America (travel required)

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a customer facing role with a Subject Matter Expert focus.

• Experience working with Account Executives/Account Managers to identify, scope, and deliver a value-driven sales cycle.

• Deep understanding of Finance technology and responsibilities of personas within the Finance org across multiple industries.

• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota.

• An enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

• A desire to build something new that can change the world, versus fitting neatly into a large company with an established static playbook.

• Located in North America with flexibility to travel.

For California applicants, the pay for this role begins at $120,000 plus variable, benefits, perks and equity.
