Espresso’s mission is to bring Web3 applications like decentralized finance, NFTs, and DAOs to the mainstream by making them cheaper, scalable, and more private for users.
The Espresso Sequencer supports the decentralization of layer-2 (L2) rollups in the Ethereum ecosystem and beyond. It handles the decentralized sequencing and data availability of rollup transactions, functioning as a middleware between underlying layer-1 (L1) platforms and any zk-VM or optimistic VM.
In addition to scalability, Espresso supports applications with greater privacy guarantees than exist in today’s smart contract ecosystems. Leveraging zero-knowledge proofs, Espresso has developed the Configurable Asset Privacy (CAP) protocol that allows developers to determine what transactional data remains private and for whom.

As Ecosystem Lead, you will be the one owning, overseeing, and driving forward all of our external partnerships for the Espresso Sequencer. From integrations with layer-2 protocols and rollup-as-a-service companies to collaborations with private mempools and work with restaking systems, there are boundless possibilities for partnerships across the Ethereum ecosystem and beyond. Responsibilities
- Identify and target opportunities for collaboration with other Ethereum ecosystem players and establish relationships with them
- Manage relationships with existing partners, ensuring that their needs are met and that they remain satisfied with the platform
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate market feedback and requirements and to drive partner integrations, launches, and ongoing support
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new business opportunities
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements that align with the company’s strategic goals
Skills
- Deep enthusiasm for blockchain infrastructure and comfort pioneering new use cases and business models
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with partners
- Knowledge of how to navigate crypto-specific channels including Telegram, Discord, and Twitter
- Strong negotiation skills to close partnership agreements
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, partnership management, consulting, or a related field
- Experience in the blockchain industry is a plus
- Enthusiasm for the industry is a must!
