  • 7+ years of product management experience
  • 2+ years in a technical role, such as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Product Manager on a technical product
  • Previous experience directly managing product managers working in technically complex areas
  • Experience working with platforms teams or in a platform-centric environment
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and leading build-buy decisions for software products
Responsibilities
  • Build software, frameworks, and tools that support engineering, data science, product, legal, security and other partners to accelerate time to market and provide center of excellence for those areas
  • Directly manage several product managers and provide coaching and support to grow their careers
  • Perform internal customer research to understand product/engineering team needs and define strategies to support current and future needs
  • Set impact-based metrics for the platform teams to guide the direction and measure the success of the platform
  • Define build-buy-partner strategies for each of the platform area(s) working with engineering partners
  • Prioritize requests from multiple engineering teams within different product groups and other corporate stakeholders
  • Shape the creation of internal shared platforms and APIs and evangelize the value of platforms across Squarespace
