Requirements
  • One year of related experience and/or training is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
  • Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

Responsibilities
  • Meet all applicable federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain contractor records and bookkeeping data according to program requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervise logistics staff on the ground at each facility.
  • Generate weekly work order reports covering completed, in-progress, and overdue assignments.
  • Maintain a filing and tracking system for building inspection records.
  • Create and submit purchase requisitions, receipts, and invoices according to timeline requirements.
  • Maintain purchase order logs.
  • Create and submit travel and expense reports according to timeline requirements.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, team decisions, and operations.
  • Implement safety protocols, including evacuating with children and staff during emergencies.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and requested by the supervisor.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations.
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards, including respectful conduct and compliance with the required dress code.
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system and locate and retrieve information from files as directed.
  • Manage program administration using the requisition system, including tracking receipts, invoices, vendor contacts, and contractor and supplier files.
  • Generate general correspondence, memorandums, and department records.
  • Record and maintain departmental and facility reports for the Regional Logistics Director.
  • Maintain comprehensive inventory control for Logistics, Food Services/National School Lunch Program, and Maintenance Departments.
  • Meet deadlines required by the program and federal partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A two-year Associate degree from an accredited program or institution, or two or more years of college-level coursework.
  • Two or more years of related experience and/or training.

Compass Connections is a nonprofit provider of community-based services for children, young people, and families. Programs include foster care, residential care, family preservation, behavioral health, and support for unaccompanied children. Teams work with public agencies and caregivers to provide safe, stable, and individualized services. Compass works in child welfare and human services, responding to safety, trauma, development, family relationships, and regulatory requirements through residential settings, foster networks, community programs, and public-agency partnerships.
