Requirements
  • Experience working in an accounts payable or finance role, ideally with at least 8 years of experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a Master of Commerce.
  • Strong reliability, attention to detail, quality focus, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage personal priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work varied hours to support the global business, including regular hours from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. IST and training or month-end hours from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. IST.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with management of the accounts payable service desk by responding to or routing inquiries and accounts payable invoices.
  • Code, enter, and process accounts payable invoices from suppliers and subcontractors, and follow up to ensure invoices reach approved status.
  • Process and maintain requisitions and purchase orders within accounts payable invoices to reach workflow approval statuses that allow invoices to be paid.
  • Audit employee expenses and corporate card expenses to ensure adherence to the Travel and Expense Policy.
  • Create reports, obtain monthly approvals for credit card charges, follow up on outstanding expenses, and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Perform other accounts payable duties, including Oracle testing, maintaining the purchase order approval matrix, and documenting and updating accounts payable process notes.
  • Support the wider Finance team with accounts payable-related queries.
