Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience (inc. Research/PhD) working on robotics software or a closely related discipline.
  • 3+ years of industry experience solving 3D perception problems.
  • A bachelor (pref. Masters/PhD) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, or related technical field.
  • Experienced in delivering perception solutions, starting from state-of-the-art surveying and prototyping to integrating and deploying.
  • Highly proficient with Python and prior experience with at least one compiled language among C, C++ and Rust.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Experienced with robotics systems, GNU/Linux and version control.
Responsibilities
  • Design perception solutions to unsolved 3D object detection problems using stereo cameras.
  • Collaborate with other robotics autonomy teams to design pragmatic, holistic solutions that integrate in our broader hardware and software systems.
  • Lead, and participate in, the implementation and validation of designed solutions.
  • Act as a mentor and subject-matter expert to grow the team’s collective technical prowess.
  • Assist other team members with their responsibilities.
