Requirements
  • The candidate must be a full-time college student or recent graduate in at least their sophomore year, working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business with a concentration in Human Resources Management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.
  • The candidate must maintain confidentiality with sensitive human resources information.
  • The candidate must be organized, able to multitask, and able to prioritize tasks.
  • The candidate must communicate effectively with other departments.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support on daily tasks aligned with department objectives, including auditing employee changes, reporting, and various human resources projects.
  • Conduct internal human resources audits of employee records, policies and procedures, recurring deductions, status change forms, payroll data, and system configurations.
  • Complete data analysis to enable departments to make informed decisions.
  • Enter, maintain, and process wage garnishments, child support deductions, and unemployment documents.
  • Respond to and resolve questions and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with key project plan tasks, including payroll projects and software migrations, and follow through to complete them on time and accurately.
  • Assist with mandatory reporting, including Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, California Pay Data, and the Affordable Care Act, as well as other internal reporting requirements.
  • Conduct benefit audits to identify vendor remittance discrepancies and ensure employee deduction accuracy.
  • Review, correct, and track human resources documents, including Form I-9 and other intra-company forms.
  • Facilitate communication among individuals across inter-office and intra-office settings.
  • Create manuals and standard operating procedures for new processes.
  • Assist with producing communication materials for the Core Services department, including benefit newsletters, wellness communications, and human resources information system and payroll updates.
  • Assist with organizing and resolving tax notices and related issues.

YFM exits Protein Works with 10.8x return after growing revenue from $16.5M to $70M

YFM has exited Protein Works following its acquisition by Lactalis, the world's leading dairy company, achieving a 10.8x cash multiple after seven years of partnership. YFM backed the sports nutrition brand through its Buyout Fund in 2019 when the business generated £13 million in revenue and operated almost entirely in the UK. The firm repositioned the company from sports nutrition into mainstream lifestyle nutrition whilst investing £11 million in a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Liverpool. Under YFM's ownership, revenue grew to approximately £55 million, gross margins improved significantly, and the customer base expanded to over 2.5 million with meaningful international presence. The acquisition by Lactalis provides Protein Works with access to deeper distribution and broader resources within one of the world's largest food and beverage groups.

Danone Agrees to Sell Swedish Probiotic Brand ProViva to Lactalis

Danone has entered into an agreement to sell its Swedish probiotic fruit juices brand, ProViva, to the French dairy group Lactalis. This transaction involves the sale of the Österlenmejeriet factory located in Lunnarp, Skåne County, in southeastern Sweden. The factory is Danone's only facility in Sweden and has previously received a Skr140m (approximately $16.9m) investment in 2020.
