Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management or related
  • 10 years' experience managing waterworks construction projects in the construction industry exceeding $25M
  • Experience operating Primavera 6 CPM scheduling software and Bluebeam Revu takeoff software
  • 3 years' experience (within the 10) operating MS PowerBI and Heavy Job HCCS to manage civil engineering projects
  • Applying construction math concepts to value engineer cost components exceeding $10M in value
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Team to develop, maintain and manage the project in a Primavera P6 schedule; to include ROW Acquisition, utilities relocation, design, construction and close-out activities
  • Create and prepare logical Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Prepare estimates and forecasts during the life-cycle of the project, responsible for reporting schedule deliverables to the project team and the Client
  • Create master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion deadlines
  • Create baseline schedule and support approval effort for projects
  • Create comprehensive schedule submissions utilizing Critical Path Methodology (CPM), resource and cost loading, baselining, coding and cost accounts
  • Determines reasonable schedule logic, duration and constraints based on Interactive Planning sessions with Project Teams
  • Utilize critical path analysis and what-if scenarios to fully support the project team
  • Perform spot check site inspections to assess actual progress
  • Put together issue folders to capture impacts and delays to schedules and recommend mitigation / recovery schedules; Prepare time impact analysis and data needed for change orders and time & cost related claims
