Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a production 24x7 environment is required.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and supporting job schedules in a critical production environment is required.
- Proficiency in job scheduling design, implementation, quality assurance, and operational support is required.
- Experience with BMC Control-M and/or Automic Application Automation Engine is required.
- A strong background in business process analysis and problem diagnosis is required.
- Experience with computing infrastructure technologies, including networking, Unix and Windows operating systems, and Oracle databases, is required.
- Experience with Perl, Common Gateway Interface, and Unix scripting is required.
- UC4 administration experience is required.
- Control-M administration experience is required.
- Good scripting knowledge in Perl, Python, and Shell is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform the UC4 upgrade for an inherited application from STEP.
- Extend UC4 for Hadoop.
- Support Credit/PP Control-M integration.
- Provide operational support for job scheduling in critical production environments.
- Resolve production problems quickly.
