  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related risk experience including experience with data collection/analysis.
  • Project management experience including planning, organization, and prioritization.
  • Technical writing and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of basic asset class (i.e., utility solar, DG and C&I Solar, wind farms, battery storage).
  • Basic understanding of risk analysis, probable maximum loss, and sharing of insurance limits.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Responsibilities
  • Coordinates internal resources, insurance consultants, and insurance brokers for the execution of insurance reports for capital market transactions.
  • Assures all new and renewal insurance policy applications are done correctly with appropriate exposure and loss information.
  • Maintains insurance policies, binders, and supporting documentation.
  • Demonstrates the ability to negotiate with internal business partners, insurance brokers, and insurance consultants through written and verbal communications. Works under the direction of more experienced staff.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies responsive to the property loss control conducted by the property insurance carrier. Handles property claims in a timely and efficient manner.
