Requirements
  • MSc in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or closely related field
  • Advanced working knowledge of statistical programming software such as SAS, R, or Stata
  • Prior experience in managing and analysing survey data
  • Prior experience in conducting linear and logistic regression analysis, including longitudinal or multi-level analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of biostatistics methods applicable to health sciences and the ability to identify and apply appropriate methods to answer varying research questions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and manage large survey and administrative datasets
  • Contribute to the development of statistical analysis plans
  • Write statistical code in SAS and R for purposes of data cleaning and analysis
  • Prepare and maintain statistical documentation such as codebooks
  • Conduct advanced statistical analyses for observational and quasi-experimental studies, including longitudinal and multi-level regression
  • Interpret findings from advanced statistical models for communication to audiences with diverse technical backgrounds
  • Summarize and present findings to internal and external stakeholders within academia, government, industry, and non-profit organizations
  • Contribute to the writing of reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project team members to support knowledge translation and exchange.
Desired Qualifications
  • PhD in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or closely related field
  • Experience with Qualtrics survey software
  • Evidence of prior contributions to academic publications in the health sciences domain
  • Experience in quantitative equity analysis
  • Working subject matter knowledge in one of the following domains: public health, child and adolescent health, mental health, population health surveillance.
