Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • IAM Level I certification (DoD 8570-compliant).
  • Hands-on experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Hands-on experience with NIST 800-53 security controls.
  • Hands-on experience with security documentation and reaccreditation.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise system auditing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Familiarity with STE/STN requirements.
  • Physical requirements: sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the operational security posture for multiple information systems.
  • Perform continuous monitoring of system compliance, risks, and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular audits and support remediation of findings.
  • Prepare systems for security reaccreditation, ensuring documentation is current and complete.
  • Apply the principles and controls outlined in NIST 800-53 and follow RMF guidance.
  • Assist with the implementation of security policies and enforce security standards.
  • Collaborate with system owners and technical staff to assess the impact of system changes on security posture.
  • Contribute to vulnerability mitigation planning and incident response readiness.
  • Track and update Plan of Actions and Milestones and other compliance artifacts.
