Moog celebrates 75 years of innovation with new Advanced Integrated Manufacturing facility, workforce investment and STEM scholarship initiative. East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) today celebrated the opening of its new Advanced Integrated Manufacturing (AIM) facility while marking the company's 75th anniversary, highlighting a continued commitment to Western New York through advanced manufacturing investments, workforce development, economic growth, and STEM education. Company leaders, elected officials, community partners, and employees gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and facility tour showcasing the new 150,000-square-foot manufacturing center, a $150 million investment designed to increase production capabilities, create a more efficient work environment, and strengthen the U.S. defense manufacturing industry in the region. The AIM facility provides nearly 50 percent more space than the operation it replaces and features advanced machining, automation, robotics and inspection technologies that will help improve efficiency, quality, safety, and product flow while supporting critical military aircraft programs. The new AIM facility is part of more than $300 million Moog has invested in Western New York over the last five years. Recent projects include the expansion of the company's Space Actuation and Avionics operations in East Aurora, into a 120,000-square-foot center for the development, production, and testing of precision actuation and avionics systems for launch vehicles, spacecraft, and defense applications, as well as a new propulsion clean room in Niagara Falls that will increase production capacity by more than 80 percent to support growing demand for satellite and missile propulsion technologies. Last year, Moog opened a 13,000-square-foot Operations Training Center that provides hands-on training and career development paths, ensuring the advanced manufacturing workforce can meet the growing manufacturing demand. Speaking to attendees, company leaders emphasized how continued investments in facilities, technology, and workforce development are helping strengthen both the regional economy and the nation's aerospace and defense industrial base. Over the next several years, nearly 1,500 parts will transition into the AIM facility, beginning with some of the company's highest-volume products. As part of the celebration, Moog also reflected on its longstanding impact on the region and announced a new STEM education initiative in honor of its 75th anniversary. The company unveiled a commitment to fund 75 STEM scholarships of $1,951 each, recognizing the year Moog was founded. The scholarships will be administered through four Western New York organizations: Buffalo Prep, Dream It Do It Western New York, Northland Workforce Training Center and Say Yes Buffalo. Moog highlights Huntsville expansion and new Hardware-in-the-Loop lab during Space and Missile Defense Symposium. Huntsville, AL - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) announces a significant expansion at its Huntsville, AL facility that now includes a new secure Hypersonic/Interceptor Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) lab. It is one of the only HWIL labs that can test a Hypersonic vehicle flight control system with actual environmental factors using physical components in a multidomain environment. This realistic testing and validation of complex missile and hypersonic flight control systems supports accelerated development cycles, reduces risk, and improves mission readiness for next-generation weapon systems for defense and space customers. Moog Inc. expands METEORITE satellite bus capacity for high-maneuverability missions. East Aurora, NY - Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), a worldwide designer, manufacturer and systems integrator of high-performance precision motion and fluid controls and control systems announces a new, High Delta-V configuration for its METEORITE (ESPA) class satellite bus to deliver greater flexibility, more maneuvering capability, and higher thrust for targeted missions. The new configuration capitalizes on the flight-proven baseline model of the Moog METEORITE bus and its radiation-tolerant components to provide increased thrust and propellant mass without requiring lengthy development and qualification programs. The High Delta-V METEORITE is ideal for propulsion-intensive missions requiring high-energy transfers, large orbital plane changes, or frequent station-keeping. The design is tailored for missions where mobility and velocity are critical for tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and space domain awareness. This addition strengthens Moog as a key supplier of adaptable, mission-ready spacecraft for commercial, civil, and national security space customers.
