Responsibilities
  • Understands Steps of Service.
  • Uses salesmanship to increase check averages.
  • Checks id’s to determine guest’s legal age and upholds all state and local liquor laws (if applicable).
  • Rings orders into POS system and communicates additional information to bartenders and cooks.
  • Ensure proper cash, credit card, and gift card processing procedures.
  • Meet company time standards for greeting guests, getting drink/food orders and processing payments.
  • Ensures all food and drinks are within company standards of quality and freshness.
  • Observes and responds to guests.
  • Handles guest comments in a professional manner and gets management when necessary.
  • Clean as you go, clear plates and glasses throughout the meal (pre-bus).
  • Follows food safety and general sanitation.
  • Have a working knowledge of the food menu
  • Have a working knowledge of all beverages offered.
  • Refills beverages when necessary.
  • Completes all daily, opening and closing side work. Get checked out by management before leaving the building.
  • Assists with Events as needed
  • Provides friendly and competent customer service.
  • Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
  • Assists with other duties, as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Restaurant, retail or guest service experience preferred.
