  • Must demonstrate proficiency in at least four of the following six areas: 1) data analysis and relational-style query languages; 2) machine learning and/or statistical modeling; 3) data visualization; 4) a high-level programming language; 5) distributed computing; 6) understanding of healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • AI and Machine Learning Solution Delivery: Take accountability for the delivery of technically sound AI and ethically responsible analytics solutions in a particular domain area. Thoroughly evaluate the risks and benefits of proposed solutions and orchestrate the end-to-end implementation.
  • Product Roadmap: Work with divisional and department leaders to develop and own the AI and analytics solution roadmap for a domain area. This involves a deep understanding of the business and effective relationship management.
  • Continuous improvement: Collaborate with data scientists, other data science product managers, and data engineers to improve the way AI solutions are delivered.
  • Requirements gathering: Work with stakeholders and leaders to ensure that models and analytics solutions are consumable by the business through the development of clear and comprehensive business requirements.
  • Managing AI “Products” rather than “Projects”: Maintain visibility into the maintenance product ownership for AI asset maintenance, including roadmapping of future enhancements and prioritizing bug fixes
  • Backlog management: Manage the AI Solutions product backlog for your domain and prioritize requests in alignment with the overall product strategy.
  • Leadership: Collaborate closely with divisional and departmental leaders across different business units to develop AI solutions, sometimes taking direction and sometimes using influence to help drive change
  • Product Leadership: Provide AI product leadership to your domain team and assigned stakeholders.

  • Previous experience working with insurance claims systems and/or healthcare experience
  • Experience with Iterative / Agile / Scrum development
  • Experience successfully implementing at-scale A.I. solutions in cloud environments
