- Develop, support, and maintain cross-team documentation standards and develop training programs to ensure best practices are common across the team
- Develop and manage training programs to ensure best practices across the team while using Ginkgo's platform and systems
- Lead the documentation of Codebase's know-how from past and current programs, and make it available for future programs
- Develop processes to collect project information and learnings in data repositories with accessible formats that enable reuse and to inform best practices; may include the identification of appropriate data management tools or designing a system in collaboration with Ginkgo digital tech product managers
- Manage indicators related to the banking of valuable strains developed in Codebase programs
- Act as a reference point and develop training programs for Ginkgo software related to knowledge management
- Collaborate across the portfolio and assist Codebase senior management in developing strategies and processes for documentation
- Lead the identification and implementation of good documentation practices for Electronic Lab Notebooks, and monitor/promote compliance to the best practices
- BS, MS or PhD in microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, chemical or biological engineering or related field; additional degree or strong training background in library or information science
- At least 2 years of recent industrial experience using and managing knowledge and data capture tools in the biological sciences; these may include, but are not limited to Electronic Lab Notebooks, Wiki pages and database management systems
- Demonstrated ability to develop new data and knowledge infrastructure to support rapidly expanding data sets and the ability to develop efficient tools for data retrieval
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
