Requirements
  • MD/DO degree
  • Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
  • Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Nephrology
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida
  • Candidate will be at the assistant/associate professor level of the clinical educator track
Responsibilities
  • Educate fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Develop and participate in original research for which extramural funding should be sought
  • Demonstrate clinical and scholarly expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work efficiently and independently
  • Contribute to nephrology research areas such as nephrotic syndrome/FSGS, proteinuria, SLE nephritis, hypertension, ologonephropathy of prematurity, obstructive uropathy, HIV nephropathy
  • Collaborate with the Division and participate in a comprehensive pediatric nephrology program including dialysis and transplant activities
Desired Qualifications
  • Fluency in Spanish, Creole, and/or French is desired but not required
