Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent in general studies.
  • At least 5 years of administration experience in a financial institution or sales environment.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Advanced knowledge of sales tasks, tools, and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of proposals, pitchbooks, and other sophisticated marketing materials for client presentations and business development efforts.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the Commercial Banking team.
  • Facilitate complex customer onboarding and commercial deposit account opening processes.
  • Respond to account inquiries, process overdrafts, handle fee refunds, and facilitate transfer requests, wire transactions, and other payment-related processes accurately and in compliance with financial regulations.
  • Support sponsorships and contributions for community events in compliance with financial institution policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain office-specific procedures and policies for efficient operations and organizational compliance.
  • Assist with printing, scanning, and document processing for internal and client-related projects.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of internal events and community connectivity activities, including logistics, invitations, and vendor arrangements.
  • Manage travel and expense reports, paid time off, and payroll matters for the team.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members.
  • Act as a liaison between the Commercial Sales Team and other departments to streamline processes and improve communication.
  • Ensure financial deliverables are collected on time and that related reporting is accurate.
  • Perform other job duties assigned by the manager.
  • Read, understand, and act on company-assigned and job-related compliance programs, regulations, policies, and procedures; identify and escalate compliance risks and complete required compliance training.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of commercial bank sales support experience or experience in a similar senior role.

Burnham Holdings secures $130M revolving credit facility to boost liquidity and growth

Burnham Holdings has closed a new $130 million revolving credit facility, replacing its existing $92 million facility that was due to mature in 2028. The five-year syndicated facility, financed through Wells Fargo Bank and Fulton Bank, comprises an $80 million revolving credit facility and a $50 million accordion feature. The new facility provides enhanced liquidity and financial flexibility to support working capital, strategic investments, acquisitions, and general corporate purposes. It includes a more favourable covenant structure and matures on 4 August 2031, with repayment permitted at any time prior to maturity. Nick Ribich, vice president and chief financial officer of Burnham Holdings, said the facility positions the company to invest across its businesses and pursue strategic growth opportunities.

Fulton Financial reports Q2 2026 net income of $99.9M after completing $2.1B Blue Foundry acquisition

Fulton Financial Corporation reported net income available to common shareholders of $99.9 million, or $0.52 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2026. This represents an increase of $7.7 million compared to the first quarter of 2026. The company completed its acquisition of Blue Foundry Bancorp on 1 April 2026, acquiring total assets with preliminary fair values of approximately $2.1 billion. Blue Foundry Bank merged into Fulton Bank on 11 July 2026. Total net loans increased $1.7 billion to $25.9 billion, primarily due to the acquisition. Deposits totaled $28.3 billion, a $1.5 billion increase from the previous quarter. The company's common equity tier 1 capital ratio rose to approximately 12.1% from 11.9% in the prior quarter.

Fulton Financial appoints David Schulz to board of directors. July 21, 2026 David S. Schulz Fulton Financial Corp. has appointed David S. Schulz to its board of directors, effective Sept. 14. He will serve a term through the company's 2027 annual meeting of shareholders. Schulz will join the board's Audit and Risk committees and has also been appointed to the board of directors of Fulton Bank, N.A. With his appointment, Fulton Financial's board will expand to 11 members. "We're excited to welcome Dave to Fulton's board of directors," said Curt Myers, chairman, CEO and president of Fulton Financial. "Dave brings extensive financial leadership experience gained through more than a decade of service with publicly traded companies. His expertise in finance, strategic planning, risk and mergers and acquisitions will provide valuable perspective as we continue to execute our growth strategy." Schulz most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Wesco International before becoming executive vice president and special advisor to the CEO prior to his retirement in May 2026. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership positions at Armstrong Flooring, Armstrong World Industries, Procter & Gamble and The J.M. Smucker Company, and served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Since 2025, Schulz has served on the board of Sterling Infrastructure Inc., where he chairs the audit committee and serves on the compensation and talent development committee.
