  • Five to seven years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
  • A Property and Casualty license is required.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist Sales Executives in securing new business and retaining renewal business for selected accounts based on premium size or complexity.
  • Oversee and coordinate new business exposure analysis, coverage program design, marketing submissions, workflows leading to bound coverage, and implementation of service plan elements.
  • Proactively work renewals by contacting clients 120 days in advance, completing account checklists, gathering updated information, revising program design as appropriate, and preparing renewal specifications for marketing.
  • Maintain contact and collaborate with internal and external parties, including Sales Executives, Account Managers, Department Heads, Marketing personnel, Loss Control personnel, clients, and insurance companies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for selected clients by reviewing current coverages and contractual requirements, providing guidance on appropriate changes, coordinating or providing claims reviews, educating clients on exclusions and exposures, and performing contract reviews related to insurance and indemnification.
  • Build relationships with clients and appropriate client team members.
  • Prescribe, plan, and implement appropriate risk management services for assigned accounts.
  • Review and update applications and general information, including attachments, activities, and follow-up, in the agency management system for assigned books of business.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement stewardship meetings where applicable.
  • Process, delegate, and/or oversee audits, proposals, and policy checking.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Attend client meetings regularly, both on and off site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Some college coursework is a plus but is not required.
