Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between the operations community and the Program Management Office (PMO) at all AFIN fielded locations.
  • Provide technical field representation for Sustainment, ensuring effective communication between Operations (OPS) and HNIB at meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain situational awareness of HNI-supported systems by participating in meetings, conferences, and working groups to relay vital information to local units.
  • Engage in commander conferences, staff meetings, A6 director calls, Integrated Product Team (IPT) calls, section meetings, and other relevant unit briefings that involve AFLCMC/HNI deployed systems and cyber inrastructure.
  • Participate in Customer meetings,Provide regular updates to MAJCOM, NOS, and base personnel on HNI program status, progress, risks, and planning schedules.
  • Work with the Government Sustainment PM to address MAJCOM/base program issues, concerns, or questions, and propose potential solutions.
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating meetings between impacted stakeholders to resolve program-related issues.
  • Support the AFLCMC/HNI ARC team with OPS incident updates, communication, remediation, and escalations.
  • Promote Sustainment services and benefits to the OPS community, ensuring awareness and proper utilization.
  • Daily Operations Briefings.
  • Operational Configuration Control Board (CCB).
  • Operational Engineering Review Board (ERB).
  • Design Review Board (DRB).
  • Ticket Review and ARC Ticket Review.
  • Change Advisory Board (CAB).
  • Submit a monthly FER Field Report for inclusion in the Integrated Data Environment (IDE).
  • Summary of all work accomplished by FERs (categorized by MAJCOM and Program) and its impact on schedule, cost, and performance.
  • Ongoing issues/risks encountered in the field and status of prior month’s FER Request Forms (including ongoing tasks).
  • Provide engineering support and troubleshooting for AFLCMC/HNI projects, programs, and weapon system sustainment efforts.
  • Perform on-site/off-site engineering efforts, including equipment configuration, troubleshooting, and installations, as approved via FER Task Requests.
  • Assist in Technical Order (TO) and Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) validation and verification before release.
  • Create and manage change requests within EITSM and Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) to support AFLCMC/HNI projects.
  • Be available for travel to any base as required to support PMO/OPS mission requirements.
  • Conduct and coordinate data calls and site surveys as needed.
