JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Learning and Performance Systems Department within the College of Education is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to join the team at the University Park campus. The successful candidate will support research initiatives in workforce and higher education by:
Conducting comprehensive literature reviews based on specified analytical criteria. Summarizing, synthesizing, and identifying patterns across relevant studies. Assisting in the preparation and development of scholarly manuscripts. Performing additional research-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills without micromanagement, the ability to work independently, and the ability to act ethically with research subjects and data
- Fluent English language writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Ability to collaborate with others in a positive and productive way.
- Must (a) pass and maintain CITI training status and (b) become an authorized adult per AD39.
- (Preferred) Graduate coursework in research ethics, methods, or educational and learning theories.
- (Preferred) Research interests in workforce development and higher education
Compensation
8 hours per week for 9 weeks at $25.00/ hour.
This position offers flexible scheduling, to be coordinated in collaboration with the research team.
