Requirements
  • Active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license in Colorado.
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Availability to work overtime as needed.
  • Availability to work weekends, Saturdays and/or Sundays, as needed.
  • Ability to function well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a full-time position based in a clinic.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Ability to sit or stand intermittently for an 8- to 12-hour shift.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including JCAHO, HIPAA, and OSHA.
  • Perform nursing tasks with clinical competency as a Licensed Practical Nurse, including correctly administering medications, setting up sterile fields, and disinfecting and sterilizing equipment.
  • Complete required documentation accurately, thoroughly, and within company timelines in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively each day with physicians, Medical Assistants, Patient Coordinators, and others about the clinical and surgical schedule, and anticipate needs appropriately.
  • Document clinical and surgical chart notes accurately and appropriately.
  • Provide the highest level of patient care and patient service at all times.
  • Follow policies and procedures consistently to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Increase physicians' overall patient retention by providing high-quality patient care and patient experience.
  • Assist in all aspects of a clinical and surgical environment.
  • Maintain tactful and mature interactions with people of diverse personalities.
  • Complete other projects and duties and assume responsibilities assigned by Clinical Leadership Members.
