McLeod/Ascanio is seeking an Experienced Tax Accountant, to be based in the Cumberland Foreside office.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree.
CPA licensure.
5-7 years of tax preparation experience.
Proficiency with Tax preparation software-Firm uses Intuit Lacerte.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Project and time management skills.
Ability to commute to office Monday through Friday and able to work overtime during tax season.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a primary client relationship for business and individual tax clients ensuring services are delivered timely and efficiently.
Depending upon experience, will facilitate or directly review and sign tax returns for individual and entity engagements.
Work with the partner group on setting and implementing policies and procedures with the Firm.
Assist in tax planning for business and individual clients.
Work with and coach junior accounting staff in procedural and technical matters.
