  • 4+ years of experience in product compliance, preferably in a technical advisory capacity
  • Strong sense of customer empathy to care deeply about customer problems and user experience
  • Experience working cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Familiarity with widely adopted as well as new compliance regulations
  • Collaborative, with strong communication skills, including the ability to translate sophisticated technical products and features into simple concepts and presentations
  • Analytical thinking skills and a data-informed approach to decision-making
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and how it relates to common frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST 800-53
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. EE, CS) or similar degree highly preferred
  • Work as a critical member of the Product Compliance team to streamline compliant product delivery across the entire Splunk portfolio
  • Provide subject matter expertise to product and engineering teams to meet various compliance regulatory requirements
  • Serve as an informed advisor on a number of Commercial and Public Sector control sets, inclusive of Privacy concerns, to enable compliant product delivery
  • Participate in prioritization of compliance requirements including level of effort evaluations
