Opportunity
The Account Director position at Envoy is a leadership role that is responsible for developing and growing client relationships, as well as high-level management of large-scale traditional and interactive projects from discovery through production and/or development. Deep experience and understanding of experiential, event, digital and/or nontraditional marketing is a must. This person will play an integrated role in the team as the senior point of contact for assigned clients and the internal project team. This role is pivotal in the success of major engagements and must be attuned to value the details, and demonstrate the ability and knowledge to push towards the end goal with foresight into the future. This position drives long-term business building, quickly and effectively identifying new opportunities.

What You Will Do
- Develop deep expertise and knowledge around each assigned client’s business and industry.
- Provide strategic and account leadership during all client engagements.
- Oversee account P&L and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop briefs and SOW documents on a high level.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and overall project organization, working with the producer(s), to ensure project requirements and timelines are clearly communicated.
- Facilitate high-level strategy and planning discussions with clients.
- Create deeper relationships with key high-level clients and develop new relationships within existing accounts to access potential lines of new business and foster a healthy account/agency engagement.
- Identify and participate in business-development opportunities with potential new clients.
- Grasp the “big picture” with a solution-oriented mindset, even in the face of large challenges.
- Effectively balance the needs of the client, as well as the needs of the agency and internal teams.
- Work synergistically with all internal teams. Drive the internal teams, and the client, to think more strategically and creatively to solve the client’s business needs.
- Work with the client to effectively gather and triage feedback appropriately for all initiatives.
- Being in constant communication with, and potentially managing, different partners/vendors.
- Ensure that the highest level of professional attention and service is maintained on assigned accounts, working to exceed client expectations.
Qualities and Qualifications
- Minimum 9+ years of account management experience in an agency environment.
- Experience in an agency environment managing major client relationships directly.
- Experience with the development and execution of large-scale digital and traditional projects.
- Experience executing large-scale advertising campaigns.
- Experience with development technologies, digital production, third-party applications and platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and pitching – a seasoned presenter.
- Strong creative and analytical thinker with expertise in problem-solving.
- Experience managing large-scale client budgets.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience managing and/or partnering with multiple groups from concepting through installation, such as AV, architects, facilities management, fabricators, etc.
- Experience with branded environments, themed entertainment, public spaces, events, motion design, architecture, software engineering and brand strategy.

What We Offer
The salary range for this position is between $100,000 to $120,000, plus benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
