  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required; Master’s or PhD preferred

  • Experience performing aerodynamics and performance analysis
  • Experience with innovative, physics-based aerodynamics analysis and design methods

Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct the aerodynamic design, analysis, and testing of rotorcraft
  • Lead and conduct rotor and mission performance calculations
  • Evaluate component test and vehicle test data
  • Lead and conduct mission and point performance analyses
  • Collaborate with the broader engineering team for multi-disciplinary trade studies
  • Lead and conduct the development and execution of test procedures
  • Maintain safety of test crews and articles by monitoring aerodynamics and performance
  • Lead and conduct model updates based on flight test data
  • Lead and conduct requirement verification activities
  • Lead and conduct the development of engineering tools
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
  • Partner with PMO organization to execute build plan
  • Requires up to 25% of domestic and international travel
  • Other duties as assigned
