Requirements
  • An active and unencumbered Licensed Vocational Nurse license in the state is required.
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required.
  • Current intravenous certification is required.
  • Availability to work overtime as needed is required.
  • Availability to work weekends, including Saturdays and/or Sundays, as needed is required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis is required.
  • The role requires the ability to sit or stand intermittently for the duration of an 8-12-hour shift.
  • The role requires the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including JCAHO, HIPAA, and OSHA.
  • Perform nursing tasks with clinical competency as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, including correctly administering medications, setting up sterile fields, and performing equipment disinfection and sterilization.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, Medical Assistants, Patient Coordinators, and other team members about daily clinical and surgical schedules, and anticipate needs appropriately.
  • Document clinical and surgical chart notes accurately and appropriately.
  • Provide the highest level of patient care and patient service at all times.
  • Follow policies and procedures consistently to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Increase physicians' overall patient retention by providing high-quality patient care and patient experience.
  • Assist with all aspects of a clinical and surgical environment.
  • Complete other projects and duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by Clinical Leadership Members.
