  • Master’s degree with minimum of 15+ years in network architecture or engineering roles, with a robust background in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions in network environments; additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a deep understanding of network technologies (e.g., IaC, SD-WAN, wireless, NFV)
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Leidos Network Repeatable Offerings and be able to articulate technical benefits, features, and use cases to potential clients
  • Stay informed about network trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position Leidos capabilities and offerings
  • Direct strategic initiatives to enhance the Leidos offerings portfolio, leveraging your deep technical knowledge and industry insights
  • Be the Network Practice Area engineer that works with Leidos business development and account management to identify customer requirements and propose tailored solutions and offerings
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops for government customers
  • Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to drive strategic opportunities and long-term partnerships
  • Provide consulting and thought leadership to influence client decision-making and drive project success
  • Partner with Leidos capture teams, solutions architects, and engineers to design network solutions that meet customer requirements and tailor repeatable offerings accordingly
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to address complex technical challenges impacting multiple sectors, using creative problem-solving and advanced technical expertise
  • Architect and oversee the implementation of large-scale, high-impact network solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational and client strategic goals
  • Champion best practices and direct efforts to continuously improve and evolve Leidos's network offerings based on market trends and client feedback
  • Collaborate with practice area team members, client stakeholders, and external partners, including sub-contractors and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and project alignment
  • Influence practice area and sector principals on solution design and process improvements, advocating for strategic approaches and best practices
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive alignment and ensure the successful delivery of complex, multi-dimensional projects.
