Audio Visual Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you have the opportunity to design and build audiovisual systems for the enterprise. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize legacy systems with the latest digital technology equipment across the AV industry. You will be responsible for the implementation, installation, and support of audiovisual systems. The position encompasses installations, testing, and research and evaluation of new products for projects.

You Have:
Knowledge of AV Switchers, Codecs, and Internet-Based Video Solutions
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including AVIXA and ANSI
Ability to install, terminate, and test cables, connectors, and interfaces
Ability to read building architectural drawings
Associate’s degree and 4+ years of experience with the design, integration, and testing of Audiovisual Systems or 6+ years of experience with the design, integration, and testing of Audiovisual Systems in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Extron, QSC, and Crestron Programming
Experience with AutoCAD
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
AVIXA CTS Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
