Requirements
  • 10+ years of comprehensive experience in the commercial waterproofing, construction, or a closely related exterior services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new commercial customers, with a strong ability in estimating projects, negotiation, and a proactive approach to sales.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of commercial waterproofing and exterior services, including project management, material sourcing, crew management, and quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating a team, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety.
  • Significant experience in small business management, including budgeting, financial analysis, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning to maximize profitability within a construction context.
  • A solid understanding of local building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and permitting processes.
  • Possess or be able to obtain the necessary general contracting license and other licenses required to operate equipment for large commercial projects.

American Operator backs Wilson Molina to lead Anne the Plumber towards majority ownership

American Operator Holdings has partnered with Anne the Plumber, a residential plumbing company serving Rhode Island communities since 2014. The partnership backs Wilson Molina as chief executive officer, with a path to earn majority ownership over time. Founder Anne-Marie Rosario Flores will remain actively involved during the transition, overseeing customer relationships and mentoring the team. Molina, whom Flores has previously mentored, will lead day-to-day operations whilst maintaining the company's service standards. American Operator's model enables operators to gain majority ownership whilst preserving local control. The firm has completed over 95 small business transactions worth more than $300 million, acquiring businesses from retiring owners and partnering them with industry operators who eventually become majority owners.
