Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a Technology Environment with a strong focus on outsourcing and/or systems integration solutions for Mainframe.
  • Experience in Mainframe Technology with an expertise in at least 1 technology: z/OS, CICS, VSAM, COBOL, HLASM, z/OS Connect EE services.
  • Integration middleware technologies such as zOS Connect, Solace, Kafka, and message protocols/formats such as JMS, SOAP, JSON, XML.
  • Experience in enterprise-grade tape and disk storage systems (DASD) for mainframe environments and mainframe storage management solutions like DFSMS, FDR/ABR, CA-1, DFRMM or similar tools.
  • 10+ years of business solutions, technical consulting, or sales solutions experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
  • Develops and drives Mainframe solutions and strategy for targeted/assigned customers of a smaller to medium size and complexity while assisting senior sales solutions personnel in larger efforts.
  • Research customer and related Mainframe industry to understand customer and business issues.
  • Provides Mainframe strategic guidance to pursuit teams for assigned customers during the solution development process.
  • Delivers and sells the technical solution strategy and vision to client executives ensuring the solution embodies company win themes and key differentiators while meeting client expectations and requirements.
  • Researches existing industry, market and Mainframe services best practices and trends as well as alliances IBM/Broadcom to evaluate and ensure company solutions and services are meeting the needs of clients.
  • Provide high-level and detailed consultative Mainframe solutions and technical sales support for selected customer opportunities.
  • Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers, partners, and potential clients.
  • Prepare high and low-level Mainframe architecture solutions details.
  • Work with customers to understand customer requirements and pain points.
  • Prepare cost effective and technically superior solutions to customers business and technical requirements.
  • Prepare and demonstrate POC/ Demos for customer related to DXC Mainframe services and solutions.
  • Work with IBM and Various MF SW providers to get the best options and optimal costs for the customers’ requirements.
  • Mentor Architects in the assigned opportunities.
  • Publish white papers on given topics for internal or external use.
  • Drive adds on sales and business opportunities during the entire process in order to contribute to increased sales volumes.

DXC deploys Amazon Quick across entire workforce

DXC deploys Amazon Quick across entire workforce. By Dylan Bushell-Embling Wednesday, 11 February, 2026 IT services and consulting company DXC Technology has completed an enterprise-wide deployment of agentic AI-powered digital workspace Amazon Quick. The platform has been deployed across DXC's global workforce of 115,000 employees operating across 70 countries, making it one of the largest enterprise rollouts of the solution to date. DXC plans to use the platform to improve the way its employees collaborate, access information and deliver work across a highly distributed enterprise. As part of the rollout, the company has introduced an AI advisor agent designed to provide employees with a single access point for AI-related knowledge and tools, which is now being used by more than 40,000 engineers. In addition to deploying the platform internally, DXC has launched a dedicated Amazon Quick Practice aimed at helping enterprises deploy AI more quickly and efficiently. The practice consists of more than 10,000 Amazon-certified professionals, including over 1000 trained and certified across Amazon AI specialisations. Cross-functional teams of AI architects, automation designers and adoption leads will work with customers to identify high-impact use cases and rapidly deploy AI capabilities. The practice is designed to scale with enterprise needs and support co-investment with Amazon in targeted industry solutions for sectors such as financial services, insurance and manufacturing. DXC Chief Digital Innovation Officer Russell Jukes said deploying Amazon Quick internally gave the company the opportunity to pressure-test the solution at enterprise scale. "We've seen firsthand how AI, when connected to the way people work and the processes they rely on, can reduce friction, improve decision-making, and help teams operate more effectively with the right guardrails in place," he said. "That experience now directly informs how we help our customers move beyond pilots and activate AI across their enterprises." DXC President of Consulting and Engineering Services Ramnath Venkataraman added that the collaboration with Amazon on the consulting practice represents "a launch pad for AI-powered enterprise transformation, with a focus on making AI practical, scalable and embedded into day-to-day operations, not just another tool sitting on the sidelines". DXC Technology reports Q3 revenue of $3.2B, down 4.3% as AI transformation progresses

DXC Technology reported third-quarter revenue of $3.2 billion, declining 4.3% year-over-year, though adjusted EBIT margin of 8.2% and non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.96 both exceeded guidance. The company generated $266 million in free cash flow for the quarter and $603 million year-to-date. The IT services firm reduced total debt by $465 million to approximately $3.6 billion whilst increasing its cash balance by over $500 million to $1.7 billion. DXC repurchased $190 million in shares year-to-date. However, performance declined across all three business segments, with US markets particularly weak. The company expects fourth-quarter organic revenue to decline 4% to 5%. DXC is pursuing a dual-track strategy focusing on stabilising heritage businesses whilst building AI-native revenue streams, with full-year free cash flow guidance of approximately $650 million.

DXC Technology Q4 results meet revenue expectations but Q1 guidance misses by 1%

DXC Technology met Wall Street's revenue expectations in Q4 2025, reporting $3.19 billion in sales, flat year on year. However, its Q1 2026 revenue guidance of $3.18 billion came in 1% below analyst estimates. The IT services provider delivered a non-GAAP profit of $0.96 per share, beating consensus estimates by 16.2%. Adjusted EBITDA reached $477 million with a 14.9% margin. Management raised full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $3.15 at the midpoint. Despite solid profit margins and strong free cash flow generation, DXC's organic revenue fell 4.3% year on year. The company, formed from the 2017 merger of Computer Sciences Corporation and HP Enterprise's services business, continues facing demand challenges with revenue declining 6.9% annually over five years.

DXC and Euronet partner to integrate core banking with Ren payments platform

DXC Technology and Euronet Worldwide have announced a global partnership to integrate DXC's Hogan core banking platform with Euronet's Ren payments platform.
