Requirements

Responsibilities
  • * Provide ongoing strategic market insights, portfolio performance analyses, industry benchmarking, and opportunity recommendations
  • * Manage overall and client-specific debit product performance analysis and reporting, keeping abreast of trends, variances, and issues to derive actionable insights and large picture business risks and opportunities in a fast-changing, competitive landscape
  • * Work with internal and external partners to provide and maintain intelligence on competitive industry dynamics
  • * Operate as a subject matter expert to internal and external business partners
  • * Act as eyes and ears to the market for debit solutions, identifying opportunities and issues that will drive overall consumer debit product strategy and execution
  • * Support Request for Proposal (RFP) and new business development opportunities
  • * Work collaboratively with key business partners (including Visa Consulting & Analytics, Marketing, Value-Added Services, Account Executives and Client Services)
  • * Engage with issuing clients and across the Visa organization in the US. Present to internal and external executive audiences
  • * Have a deep understanding of the needs of cardholders, issuing banks, payment facilitators, processors, merchants, and acquirers, including the economic drivers that motivate marketplace participants]
Desired Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years’ relevant experience at management consulting firm, payments facilitator, processor, or US Financial Institution
  • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into strategic insights and actionable recommendations
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong project management experience with a proven track record of executing complex cross functional projects on time and within budget
  • A high, self-defined standard of excellence and drive for continual improvement
  • An affinity for payments technology and its future. Deep curiosity about what is happening, and what is happening next in the industry.
  • Strong collaboration and ability to manage cross functionally
  • Self-starter who is comfortable in ambiguous environments
