Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • CISA or CISSP certification, preferred.
  • 12+ overall years of proven experience in IT auditing, cybersecurity assessments, and engineering processes audits.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Expertise in COBIT frameworks, COSO methodologies, and SOC compliance standards.
  • Proficient in risk management principles with the ability to review complex systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to inspire change among senior partners.
  • Proficient project management skills to balance multiple projects.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to successfully implement a world-class audit strategy targeting engineering, product development, and cybersecurity risks.
  • Lead audits to evaluate the efficiency of engineering processes, product lifecycle controls, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Manage audit projects from inception through completion, determining risks, prioritizing activities, and delivering insights.
  • Craft audit testing strategies using advanced data analytics to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide strategic insights with clear reporting and storytelling to inform senior leadership.
  • Mentor and develop audit team members to deepen their expertise in technology auditing.
  • Ensure audit work products meet quality standards aligned with professional and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to achieve cohesive coverage on technology risks.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in operational audits in hardware or technology companies, focusing on engineering processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, and agile auditing methodologies.
  • Previous experience in technology companies or consulting firms performing technology audits.
