  • An Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required.
  • An Associate degree is required for colleagues graduating from a Radiation Therapy program after December 31, 2014.
  • IEMA-Radiation Therapy certification is required in Illinois.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • The colleague must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiation therapy, or have successfully completed a Radiation Therapy program and be eligible to take the Radiation Therapy certification examination.
  • The colleague must complete and pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification and registration examination within one year of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Perform radiation therapy simulation and administration using a computed tomography scanner and linear accelerator according to the prescription of a radiation oncologist.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
  • One year of experience in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
