Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.
- Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint-based criminal background check, and successfully complete a reference check.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to clients and manage the day-to-day activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants working as a team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Assist clients in meeting their goals through assessment and monitoring of their care needs and interaction with the interdisciplinary team, including the physician.
- Provide education and guidance to clients and their families on disease processes and management.
- Ensure adequate medical supplies are available to meet patients' medical needs and report supply needs to the Director of Nursing and/or Administrator.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
