Strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, and Physics

Strong coder with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, C++, Rust, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and empathize with a variety of individuals. You can iterate with users and non-technical stakeholders and understand how your technical decisions impact them
Demonstrated ability to learn and work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Work with Product to identify and prioritize integration opportunities for Onda Cloud
Research and quantify the opportunity costs and value of available data in integration opportunities
Design and implement robust, scalable distributed system architecture for the Onda Cloud integrations platform to collect, authenticate, normalize, store, and process integration data
Work with Product and UI/UX to define and document the customer experience and data visualizations for integration opportunities
Collaborate with Onda engineering teams to incorporate the integrations platform with the rest of the Onda Cloud product

Desired Qualifications

Strong technical writing skills and an overall command of written English, with experience crafting and communicating highly technical content to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with a programming language that has a rich and strict type system, such as Rust, TypeScript, Scala, Haskell, OCaml, etc
Experience developing and delivering in cloud environments, e.g. AWS and Azure
Experience developing distributed web API services and data architectures at scale
Experience integrating together various heterogeneous systems and enterprise-scale services into a product or security architecture

About the Role

Onda Cloud is a service that provides actionable, continuous cybersecurity risk analysis of a customer’s IT infrastructure and services. One of its core responsibilities is to collect internal security controls and telemetry from a customer environment that support its ability to perform a high-fidelity cyber risk assessment. Software Engineers at Onda are involved throughout the product lifecycle, from idea generation, design, and prototyping to execution and delivery. As a Software Engineer on the Onda Cloud Integrations team, you will help build their integrations platform and expand Onda Cloud’s visibility into customer environments. At Onda, Software Engineers are expected to write clean, effective code and learn new languages and technologies quickly. Software constantly evolves, so they need engineers who can do the same. Alongside peers who bring diverse experience—startup founders, industry veterans, technology pioneers, and more—you’ll build your skill set to apply the best technology to solve a given problem.

Key Responsibilities

Work with Product to identify and prioritize integration opportunities for Onda Cloud.
Research and quantify the opportunity costs and value of available data in integration opportunities.
Design and implement robust, scalable distributed system architecture for the Onda Cloud integrations platform to collect, authenticate, normalize, store, and process integration data.
Work with Product and UI/UX to define and document the customer experience and data visualizations for integration opportunities.
Collaborate with Onda engineering teams to incorporate the integrations platform with the rest of the Onda Cloud product.

Required Qualifications

Strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, and Physics.
