The ITS Supervisor in this role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the activities of Enterprise Systems team members relating to requirements, development, implementation, and support of IT solutions. Maintains an understanding of the Enterprise Systems Team’s current workload including policies, business drivers, current system issues, and additional system needs, etc. Supervises the day-to-day work of the Enterprise Systems team members, to implement system solutions.
Your Impact:
- Collaborate with team members to gain a working understanding of all IT solutions identifying technical, functional, and process-based system concepts to serve as a subject matter expert.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business system applications and interfaces.
- Mentor, supervise and provide expertise to Enterprise Systems team members.
- Contribute to technical documentation such as UI mock-ups, workflows, or systems process logic.
- Build a healthy relationship with direct reports driving the team’s culture and assisting with their career development.
- Evaluate performance of direct reports and provide feedback on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with department managers and leaders ensuring communication and the needs of team members are met.
- Assist with leading a team of IT professionals working through their full SDLC responsibilities.
- Provide feedback to Information Technology Services (ITS) Management on how to continually improve ITS processes.
- Oversee the day-to-day assignments and tasks of direct reports.
- Provide oversight and be a point of escalation on assigned team projects or initiatives.
- Provide regular updates to ITS Management on the progress and status of assigned projects and initiatives.
- Supervise, train, and improve the coordination of emergency issues and changes with developers and ITS Management.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for immediate supervision of assigned Enterprise Systems team members; instructs, assigns, and checks their work at intervals; responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing their activities.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, management information systems or related field.
- 5+ years with information systems or project management, including 2+ years of supervisory / team lead experience or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of common SDLC methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Proficiency with MS Office products.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface with both technical and business team members at all levels within an organization.
- Strong mentoring, supervisory, and leadership skills to lead a team.
- Prior work experience in the insurance industry preferred, but not required.
- Project management experience preferred, but not required.

The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected annual pay range for this position is between $64,800 to $110,000 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
