Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related engineering field is required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in engineering, construction, sales, or technical client-facing roles is required.
  • Familiarity with construction practices and heavy equipment is required.
  • Experience working on proposals, in sales, or in a customer-facing technical role is required.
Responsibilities
  • Support pursuit execution by assisting Project Development Engineers with pursuit strategy, coordinating with estimating and engineering teams, and building technically credible proposals.
  • Research geotechnical challenges, evaluate solutions, and contribute technical content to client-facing materials.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and follow-ups while building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities in the heavy civil and transportation space, and track market activity and competitive positioning.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and association meetings to build an industry network.
  • Manage pursuit timelines, track deliverables, and ensure smooth communication across internal teams.
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, Engineer-in-Training, or Geologist-in-Training licensure is preferred.
  • Salesforce or equivalent customer relationship management experience is a plus.
  • B2W estimating software experience is a plus.
