Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of experience in billing and project costing
- Must have strong accounting, analytical, computer, communication, and organizational skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- A thorough knowledge of project cost accounting, including time and expense, lump sum, and not-to-exceed project terms.
- Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and to respond to changes in priorities
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and see projects through to completion
- Employ problem-solving skills and analysis, and report problems to the CFO or Accounting Manager as necessary
- Fluent in English (must speak, read, write)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration
- Previous experience with accounting and invoicing at an architecture, engineering, or construction firms
- Knowledge of Deltek VantagePoint software
