Requirements
  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Ability to write high-quality code and execute quickly
Responsibilities
  • Create tooling and interfaces that enable easy configuration of onboarding and compliance requirements when launching new products and features
  • Build solutions to reduce friction when adapting to changes in rules and regulations
  • Evolve and maintain APIs for interacting with onboarding requirements
  • Work across the company with product, policy, and global teams
  • Rigorously measure outcomes that drive bottom line impact to Stripe's business
  • Build software services and platforms that will impact every Stripe user, whether they're an end user, developer, or partner
  • Ensure our platforms are reliable, scalable, secure, and extensible
  • Help drive sound technical decision making and lead technical conversations with other teams across Stripe
  • Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working on compliance and financial products
  • Experience building brand new products or working in a startup environment
  • Experience working with Ruby, Java, or other JVM languages
  • A computer science or engineering degree, or equivalent experience
