Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited program for Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Unrestricted license as an NP or PA in Colorado, or able to obtain
  • BLS and valid DEA in state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PA or NP in spine surgery to include first assist experience, required
Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch care and patient experience
  • Act as a First Assist in surgeries with the Ortho Spine Surgeon
  • Work with 1 other Ortho Spine Surgeon
  • Clinic hours 2-3 days/week at Ortho Spine clinic in Lafayette, CO
  • Rounding at Good Samaritan Medical Center and Platte Valley Medical Center
  • Work 5 days per week with hours varying based on clinic vs. OR volume
  • Paid Call is 1:3 weeknights and weekends for the practice
