Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED or higher level degree if hired after June 6, 2022
  • California Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification if hired after April 10, 2016; in lieu of CNA, one complete semester of education in an accredited associate’s degree in nursing (ADN or ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program or completion of a Licensed Vocational Nurse program
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations
  • Obtains vital signs: temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure and pain level
  • Documents and communicates abnormal values and changes to registered nurse per policy; communicates observations of patient condition changes to registered nurse
  • Performs AM and HS hygiene per standard
  • Positions and ambulates patients as per care plan; assists registered nurse with re-positioning, ambulating, transporting, and other care as directed
  • Documents Intake, Output and daily weights; communicates information to registered nurse; completes documentation accurately as per policy
  • Assists with set up and/or feedings of patients
  • Communicates with RN or appropriate team member prior to leaving unit for any reasons
  • Assists with equipment storage, retrieval and procedure cart restocking as directed
  • Observes all isolation procedures and regulations
  • Provides safe patient environment at all times; stays with patient who may be in danger of falling or hurting themselves; correctly identifies patient by use of armband; ensures call bell is within reach; application of restraints
  • Adheres to guidelines for change of shift report from assigned RN
  • Performs patient rounds at least every hour
  • Maintains general tidiness of patient room
  • Completes continuing education classes as assigned
  • Performs duties assigned by and under the supervision of the RN
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Additional $100,000 For Los Angeles Wildfire ReliefLAGUNA BEACH, Calif., Jan. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The William, Jeff & Jennifer Gross Family Foundation, the charity founded by renowned investor and philanthropist Bill Gross and his son and daughter, announced that it donated $18 million to 61 non-profits and charities in 2024, including to hurricane relief and recovery efforts in North Carolina and Florida.
